SIF & CO₂ Seasonal Cycle

Interactive 3D animation of solar-induced chlorophyll fluorescence (SIF) and atmospheric CO₂ over North America from March to September 2018. As spring vegetation greens up, photosynthesis draws CO₂ out of the atmosphere, which is visible as a synchronized drawdown in the CO₂ layer.
